Stanley Land and Homes has been shortlisted in two categories at one of the housing sector’s most prestigious awards events.
Our scheme of 75 homes at Trumacar Gardens in Heysham, in partnership with Jigsaw Homes, has been shortlisted for the Best Affordable Housing Development (£10m – £20m) category in the Northern Housing Awards 2024.
We’ve also been shortlisted again in the SME of the Year category at the annual awards, to be held at The Point at Emirates Old Trafford cricket ground on Thursday May 23.
SME of the Year is the same title that Stanley won in 2023 thanks to our work on several affordable housing schemes for registered providers across the North West.

Based off Middleton Road in Heysham, the Trumacar Gardens project has delivered a mix of new one, two, three, and four-bedroom homes for affordable rent, allowing people at different stages of life and with different circumstances to access local affordable rents.
The scheme, which opened in July 2023, includes 12 two-bedroom bungalows with all units on the project designed to meet the nationally described space standard.
The annual Northern Housing Awards celebrate innovative affordable housing providers, projects and services that help to create communities in the North of England. Around 700 professionals from the region attend the awards each year.
